THAI STIR-FRY WITH GROUND BEEF
For the sauce:
30 ml dark soy sauce (2 tbsp)
15 ml light soy sauce (1 tbsp)
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp Shaoxing wine
1 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp water
1 tsp cornstarch
Juice of ½ lime
Black pepper
Serves 2:
125 g snow peas, trimmed and briefly blanched
2 onions, sliced into half rings
2–3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
3 spring onions, roughly chopped
400 g ground beef
For garnish:
1 red chili, finely chopped
A handful of cilantro, finely chopped
Preperation:
1. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce and set aside
2. Heat a splash of (olive) oil in a wok or frying pan and cook the onions, garlic, and spring onions for about 3 minutes.
3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned
4. Once the beef is cooked, add the snow peas and the sauce. Stir well to combine
5. Serve with rice and garnish with red chili and/or cilantro. Enjoy!
