STIR-FRIED BRUSSELS SPROUTS
125 g smoked bacon lardons (diced bacon)
500 g Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
10 ml pomegranate molasses
40 g pomegranate seeds (approx. ó pomegranate)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Preparation:
1. Fry the bacon in a skillet or wok without adding oil until cooked and crispy
2. If desired, drain off the excess fat. Add the Brussels sprouts and sauté over medium-high heat
until tender-crisp
3. At the end, add the pomegranate molasses and season with freshly ground black pepper and, if
needed, a little salt (keep in mind the bacon is already salty)
4. Sprinkle with the pomegranate seeds before serving. Enjoy!
