Privacy policy

This is Dutchdeluxes’ Privacy and Cookie Statement. We respect the privacy of all users of our website and ensure that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially.

Introduction

When you contact us, you share personal data with us. You often provide these yourself so that we can answer your question or keep you informed of the latest developments. But sometimes you also provide information without actively sending it to us yourself (e.g. via cookies). In this privacy statement we would like to explain what information we collect from you, why we need it, what we do with it and what rights you have. In short, how do we handle your personal data and privacy?

What is personal data?

Personal information is anything that allows us to see or identify you. This includes direct personal information, such as your name, e-mail address and telephone number, as well as information that allows us to easily determine that certain information or actions belong to you, such as your IP address. When you fill out a form on the website or even when you just visit our website, you provide us with your personal data.

With whom do we share your personal data?

We do not use the personal data you entrust to us for purposes other than the intended processing and do not share or sell this personal data with or to third parties unless required by legal obligations or you have given us clear consent to do so.

Contact form

Sometimes you want to contact us and for that purpose a contact form is available on our website.

  • What data do we ask for and why?

We ask for your name so we know who we are contacting. This makes conversation pleasant and easy. We answer most questions by e-mail. To be able to reach you, we therefore need your e-mail address. If you want to give us the option of contacting you by phone, filling in your phone number is optional. We also ask you to formulate a message in the text field at the bottom of the contact form. This way we can prepare ourselves well and help you as well and efficiently as possible. When you fill out the contact form and provide us with the above-mentioned data, you give us permission to use it for maintaining contact. We will not use the data you entrust to us through the contact form for other (commercial) purposes.

  • Where do we store your data and for how long?

By submitting the form, you consent to us storing this data in our mailbox (this is where completed contact forms arrive). After the communication has ended, we keep the completed contact form for up to twelve months for aftercare or to answer subsequent questions.

Newsletter

To keep you informed of interesting developments, we occasionally send a newsletter containing interesting news and entertaining information. You can sign up for this on the website. After signing up you will receive an email from us confirming your subscription.

  • What data do we ask for and why?

We like to address our newsletters to you personally. To do this, we would like to know your name. We need your e-mail address to be able to send you the newsletter. By signing up, you give us permission to send you newsletters by email, to store your name and email address in our database and to include your name in the newsletter salutation.

  • Where do we store your data and for how long?

We keep your data as long as you are subscribed to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time. You can do this by clicking on 'Unsubscribe' in one of the newsletters you receive or by contacting us by telephone or in writing. When you unsubscribe via the link in the newsletter, we will remove your personal data permanently from our database within 30 days after unsubscribing.
